I was apprehensive but it really is thick and beautiful. It takes two to unroll and place because it is rolled snuggly and it is a little stiff because it is thick.I suggest placing it with the textured side down to make cleaning easier (you still get that subtle sparkle effect).

Works like a charm for temporary use. Its fit and thickness excellent. Probably not good to leave on permanently on wood but great when entertaining. Also print from magazines come off sometimes and can't be removed with soap and water- but rubs off easily with oil (ie: olive oil). I recommend.

It is well made, but adjusting to a little overhang on my table. Fortunately, I'm using under a table cloth. It's arrived wound up fairly tight (understandably) and took some work to get it reasonably flat. A couple of days later and I'm still trying to reverse roll the edges to get them flat. So this brings up an issue I didn't think about. If rolling it means it retains some of its shape, how am I going to store it when not using a table cloth for holidays or gatherings? Sort of wish it was made up of puzzle pieces that shipped flat and I could store flat. Like 4 quarters. Does beat the wrinkles (in the vinyl elastic kind) that show through the tablecloth.

fits perfectly on a 42 round tableeasy to clean and adds great protectionfor those who complain about it won't lay flat out of the box...fill your tub with as hot water as you have..place cover in water and let it soak for a few minutes.. take it directly to the table dry one side real quick and put that side down on table and rub from center out all around while cover is still hot or warm.. perfectly flatYOUR WELCOME

I got the supposedly 47-in diameter, which is actually about 47 1/2. That's not horrible, but no matter what you do - iron it, use a blow dryer on it, put books all over for a week to weight it down, wait and wait - the creases and wrinkles obviously remain and it never fully flattens. The problem is they roll it and squeeze it waaaayy too tight for shipment. If the seller would roll it into a much looser tube and use a bigger box, that could solve the problem. In any event, poor product as it is. Fork over the money for glass if you need a good table protector.
