I recently personalized a beach towel with embroidery floss thread, and the colors were so vivid and bright! The colors stood out vividly against the background, and the thread held up beautifully. Throughout the project, the floss was easy to work with and didn't tangle much. I did have to order an additional pack to complete the colors, so I do wish it had come with more of the same colors but it was still great for the value if working smaller projects.

I bought these specifically because someone said they were so soft and they were not fibbing. I did have to gently pull them apart some because of minor glue stickage and others because they had lightly tangled because of the vacuum sealed bag. However I did it with in 5 minutes with 140 skeins. A light touch is all that was required. Did not receive doubles and there is a good variety of different shades of every color in the 140 package. I wanted these because whenever I do a cross stitch, I often switch out the colors regardless of whether it's a packaged cross stitch or a patterned. Couldn't afford to amass such a quantity of colors if I bought the DMC. So every so often I would look on to Amazon and see if something had come on to the market that I wanted. The review I read that commented on their softness and either the same review or another mentioning a gentle pulling them apart because of glue, made these my perfect answer. The glue does not leave a tackiness on the skeins. They are perfectly fine once you pull them apart. The material is very soft and vibrant colors. Just a quick little note: I am differentiating these from my DMC floss using a label maker on each plastic bobbin. G-#. G standing for generic. Seemed the simplest solution to make sure they don't get mixed And to reuse bobbins at a point in the future when I will order more of these.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this thread. The thread is great quality, and colors are rich and varied. The thread does not get into knots as often as I've experienced with other brands, however, there is some fraying at the ends. I'm not sure why others have said it's difficult to thread into a needle...if it frays, just snip off a bit at the end and thread it!I will say however, this is not truly 250 colors. Some colors are repeated! But I don't mind- I think the quantity and array of colors are worth the money.The only thing I was disappointed about was the packaging. Just two plastic bags, taped together haphazardly. You definitely need some kind of sorting mechanism/organizer. I just used old wine corks I had at home to wind the few colors I was using. I've also used small zip lock bags to keep the remaining threads, grouped by similar shade.Overall- would buy again, though I don't think I'll need to any time soon...maybe in 20 years haha

Colors are amazing. A good value for the money. It is not cotton. It's good for a beginner or for test projects.

She Loved all the many colors. I bought a friend (who's 87)makes baby quilt for cancer babies in Honduras. Her son and daughter -in-law (a nurse), travel and help take care of babies on the mission field. She made over 200 quilts herself last year. When she received the thread she said it was like Christmas. She uses the thread to embroidery bible verses and top stitch. The Dr's over there told her she was keeping these babies alive and warm.

Christmas came early for this 64 yr old grandma! At under a dime a skein, I wasn't sure what to expect with these, but each is numbered to correlate to our regular cross stitch pieces, the colors are absolutely intense & beautiful, and not a single dupe in all 240 skein!! I will be buying from this seller again! THANK YOU!

No se sienten de muy buena calidad, pero la variedad de colores está muy bien para el precio. Tal vez no los comprarÃa para bordados, pero los uso para hacer pulseras y están perfectos.

they are good quality and i’m happy with the value for money. however if you intend to number them and organize them, pay attention to the numbers because, while they are close to the DMC standard they are not exact
