I used it to secure my metal studs to the concrete patio floor and a longer nail to secure the cement board to the cinder block on the back wall. I used multiple nail lengths and widths. I only had one or two misfires. It is powerful and has a pressure dial for different material strengths. The strength I used on the cinder block was softer than the patio floor.

So I was driving anchor s the old fashion way , pre drill slam pin repeat. I ran out of pins so I ordered this beauty ! I wish I ordered B4 I started this project . Takes ¼ of the time to accomplish same task. It's a must have for a basement Renovation!

I’ve used this gun only once so far. I gunned (12) 2 1/2†fasteners thru P.T. 2x4 plates into an existing slab-on-grade which allowed 1†of penetration into the concrete. I used the green tipped 22 blanks and buried every fastener. Gun works great but you have to follow the instructions (included with the purchase) to the letter. Pressing the fastener into the wood plate down to the washer with the gun barrel, before firing, is essential. BTW, I really think a single shot gun will be much safer for most users.

I'm not a professional builder, but I am building a small shade structure on a concrete patio. I secured the base of the walls to the concrete. It uses .22 caliber firing blanks to propel the fasteners and is actuated with a trigger instead of a hammer, which is very nice. It fits comfortably in my hand and isn't heavy in my hand. I have had no misfires or failures of any kind and have been very satisfied with the power of it, especially for the price. Really good product and value.

Gun jammed withing 4 nails. Could not unjam. I sent it back. Company is great to work with, but this product is not the best quality.
