By putting these over the existing cymbal with the supplied felts, you have the same tone quality but like having a good muffler. In conjunction with mites and nylon sticks, this product completes my practice setBetter than expected!!

I got these low volume cymbals here for &50 and love them. I can crack or bend cheap cymbals like zildjian z in one practice session with my rock band. These things have held up nicely for several sessions and sound decent. The hats are actually a little loud but the crash and ride are perfect. I actually use these in small club gigs and they work fine.

I purchased these for practicing at home on my acoustic drum set. They do not sound all that great, but for the price and they do work ok. They are super thin and the edges are fairly sharp. I killed two pair of drum sticks in no time. The bell on the ride is basically non existant. I'm going to try and round off the edges and use them on the grandkids set. If you are buying these for a beginner to practice at home with, they might be a good option for lowering the cymbal volume.

I can’t imagine why someone would pay hundreds of dollars for a comparable set of name brand low volume cymbals. For regular cymbals, I get it, but not for these. How do you think John Bonham would sound using these cymbals and a bunch of coffee cans? He would sound like the great John Bonham. If you don’t like where you’re playing is at, over-priced low volume cymbals won’t help. You know what will?—-practice—-and these cymbals are perfect!
