This unit is amazing. For the money you can’t beat it. The screen is clear enough to see even small fish swimming. Good mapping with the upgraded CMap card as well. It’s not touch screen but well worth every penny I paid.

In my opinion this is the best bang for your buck. If you want $4000.00 results you must pay $4000.00 . However this does exactly what I want it to do. Still learning all the functions but nice unit for the money.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. Easy to use and install. Clarity and map capabilities are awesome. Would definitely recommend this product.

After several emails back and forth with Lowrance, they finally confessed that the Eagle Eye 9 CANNOT display the Custom Depth Shading feature of the C-MAP Discover chip. I regarded this feature as the only reason to purchase the chip (since the EE9 is an additional unit, and my primary fish finder has detailed mapping). Fortunately, $50 is not a fortune; however, Lowrance should have disclosed this limitation of its product.

Easy install. Low power consumption. Shows good detail to about 40 feet. After 40 gets a bit hazy. You can see grass and some structure, but on fish. I would haven given 5 star. But the trolling motor mount is a complete joke. Poorly thought out. Ordered to additional mounts from Bass Pro as the original positioning ears sheer off. Hopefully someone will come up with a shaft mount
