All of my pants are 34" waist but note that swimsuits are sized differently from pants, so 2 out of 3 people may just get 'close enough'. The product description says Large=34", 35" & 36". Medium= 31", 32" & 33". So I chose the Large and sure enough they were a good inch too large. My only option was to choose a Medium or try a different brand. A size Large with one brand may be completely different to a size Large with another brand, because unlike pants the letter designations are just for comparison within that brand and you have to search further for inches.I swim twice a week at an indoor pool and these will do the job. The sale price was right, the quality seems to be there and the styling is Ok for what I do.

Really love the design and overall fit, but the inner shorts leg holes are REALLY small (like made for a boy). I don't have huge thighs either and it feels like circulation is being cut off. You either need to have stick legs or have to cut the leg holes a little.

My wife bought me one of the LRD athletic shorts with the surfer Dino liner because I really like the shorts with the boxer style liner that doesn’t hang lower than the shorts. I just wore that pair all week on vacation as a swim suit. It dried quickly, was super comfortable, and looked good. As soon as we got home from vacation I went to buy a black pair with grey liner for another option to have on hand. The athletic shorts version wasn’t available, but I found this swimsuit version that looks almost identical. The outer material seems similar, but the inner material has a more mesh look toIt than the Dino one I have. Fine by me, until I tried them on. The leg holes of the liner in this swimsuit version are not stretchy at all, and are much smaller than the ones one the other shorts. These are uncomfortably tight, and they are the same size as the other ones I have from the same brand. I may return them and try the athletic style ones to see if there is a difference.

They run a little small I feel like. The compression of the suit was tight on my legs so had to go up a size. Other than that the product is very comfortable

Ordered a small for my 13 year old son. Slightly big which is great. He loves them and has had several compliments. We really love the compression shorts. Good quality fabric.

I’m 6’2†210. XL was massive around the waist and my legs didn’t fit in the holes enough to even pull them up to a normal height. The person these are cut for is built like a beach ball with stick legs. Good luck.

The fabric is great but the undershorts are way too small making them ill-fitting. I am a very typical size large but there is no way I can wear these. Such a shame as I like the design.

Size descriptions on the site are completely off. As per the site advice, I ordered X-LARGE which turned up to be extremely baggy a too large in waste. So I returned them and ordered LARGE and they turned up to be super tight and too small in waist. Annoying!

I bought these for my husband and the top/outer layer fits well. The inner compression layer is SO incredibly tight around the seam at the leg that it can't even stretch. Seems the stitching is blocked. Too bad because he can't wear them
