Its hard to install, directions not great and it leaks a little on the passenger side of the engine.

Tolerances in thread pitch from bolts to internal tap allow for leaks due when pressurized. Likewise, the kit did not come with any o-rings or gaskets. The braided hose is weak and leaks.

Says it doesn’t fit 102 intakes but must be the car versions. FAST recommended a GTO from port setup and I had to bend it and it was nothing but leaks and issues.This kit worked great and looks great.

I ordered this to save a few bucks as compared to some of the other options and because it looked good. I am tapping the front of a LS truck (3rd gen) water pump to add the steam port and it would look better to have a braided hose and run it from the passenger side rather than cross over from the factory metal line as I am running a Holley low rise manifold in my swap. However, the item I received has a hose that fits in all 3 of the tapped holes but a hose barb that does not, it looks to me like the hose is 1/8NPT but the hose barb adapter appears to have straight threads and a finer pitch. I tried getting a replacement from Amazon but it has exactly the same problem. The second one had better machining than the first, but both looked like they would seal at the o-ring and the NPT hoses were a tight fit, if it wasn't another 10 bucks to order a replacement fitting and hope I am right and it is tapped for 1/8" NPT and the fitting is wrong I just sent it back. Shame, as it looks very nice and the hose did swivel and the only defects in the workmanship other than the barb fitting (which was also bored way off center) was a bit of shavings in the tapped fittings that cleaned up easily and machine marks on the bottom of one of 4 blocks I examined. I will just stick with the OEM steam port adapter and deal with it coming across from the drivers side. If you decided you need one and are planning on adding your own fitting (like a 45 or 90) then it might be worth while even if you had to drill and tap it bigger.
