I have a whole house well for over a decade now and have tried many brands of UV bulbs, these by far are the best quality. Per instructions it's advised to replace yearly which I do, however they are still running strong after one year of 24/7 constant use.

Bought this bulb in July and its already burnt out. As others mentioned, look for the better quality bulb. These are no good.

We used to have to order this from the manufacturer direct. They don't even sell them any longer. Amazon is much easier and the product is a third of the price. Good value and seems to work well!

We have a Pelican/Pentair water softener alternative system and have to replace this lamp every year. Since Pentair no longer sells to it's consumers directly (jerks), we had to find these elsewhere. They are perfect.

I have a Pelican whole house water system that uses a UV germicidal lamp to disinfect and kill Ecoli in my water source.I have used other germicidal UV lamps for years and decided to try this one when my old UV lamp burned out.The new replacement lamp is a cheaply produced lamp from China. The old lamp produced visible light to indicate it was properly working. The new cheap replacement lamp does not produced much visible light do I cannot be sure it is working properly to disinfect my whole house water system.Not recommended as it is not really comparable to any good quality UV germicidal lamp made elsewhere. Purchase only quality germicidal lamps not cheap made ones from China. A cheaply made germicidal lamp from China can have a serious impact on you and your family's health!

Total garbage. Don't waste your money. Cheap Chinese knock off BS. Two different bulbs burned out within 30 days of install. The original lasted over a year. Save yourself the hassle and get the real thing. You'll spend less money in the long run.
