I bought this for my European starling. So far, it seems as good as the ZooMed avian sun bulb that is getting harder to find in stock.

Had to buy another light for my bird. Light was knocked down and broke the light. Works great.

I got this UVA/UVB light bulb for my little pet cockatiel, because he doesn't get enough natural sunlight. He loves it when I turn his lamp on, and it will make him much healthier.

I have a yellow nape parrot who was feather picking and wanting to mate all the time. With this light we can control how long daylight is for him and it mimics natural light without throwing heat.

Unfortunately, this UVB light bulb emits a very strong chemical smell when turned on. I bought it to improve my dove’s health, but it seemed to do the opposite. Shortly after using it, my dove became fatigued and showed signs of illness. Over a few days, the odor intensified, and both my fiancé and I felt lightheaded around the lamp. We even tested the bulb in different lamps, but the fumes persisted.Since stopping use, my dove’s health has noticeably improved. I’ve previously used a different UVB bulb without any issues, but it was out of stock, so I tried this one. My other bulb never emitted a strong odor or affected my dove like this. Please be cautious—chemical fumes can be extremely harmful to birds. We purchase these products to improve our pets’ health, not to make them worse.
