I was looking for shorts that our 7 y/o could wear for her Hip-Hop dance class. Our daughter is about to turn 7 and is average size and weight and normally wears a 7/8. We ordered the shorts in size 7/8 and they fit just right. I was happy to find these shorts; the fit, price, and color options made these an easy choice. We pair them with athletic tanks and the outfit works perfectly for her dance class. The shorts are comfortable, which my daughter appreciates, and they aren't extremely short or cut low in the waist, which my husband and I appreciate as they give adequate coverage when she dances. I would purchase these shorts again. However, I do wish there were options for shorts that did not have the peace signs and other appliques. That was my thought when ordering and it was the first thing my daughter mentioned when she saw them as well. That is a minor issue though and would not stop me from ordering them for dance/gymnastics purposes.

These shorts are super cute and a nice material. My daughter absolutely loves them and she is very picky. She said they are very comfortable. In terms of size, my daughter is very short for her age (8) so I ordered her a 6. She however is very muscular so they are a little tight...My opinion, not hers! The length is fine though so if your child is very thin the six is probably great. But if she has a more muscular build then I'd go with the 7/8. The company was wonderful and they sent me the next size up no problem. The customer service is terrific! I will absolutely be buying again from them and would highly recommend them!

Bought these for my daughter. They're great shorts and she says they're comfortable to use for her dance classes. I did notice with these and the colored ones, they are a bit see-thru so you might want them to wear undies that are similar in color. She's 8 and I bought 9-10. They fit good. The 7/8 fit her a bit tight so we sized up. She's a bit tall for her age.

I love these little shorts. They are adorable and will fit my daughter for quite some time. She is only two, so they are large on her, but still fit around the waist. 4 stars instead of 5, because they are rather expensive. I didn't mind the cost on these because I knew they would last a while, but the pricing on other Lucky and Me items is prohibiting me from trying them out. I can't afford to spend major bucks on items my daughter will only wear for six months.

Nice bright colors, and feels very comfortable. My daughter has a sensitive skin and I’m extremely happy with this product. They are not made of thick fabric, but that is one reason why I like them. Good for gymnastics and under dresses during summer. Definitely worth of the money spent.My 6y daughter is slim and very tall for her age. I ordered size 7/8 (most of her clothes are 8/10) and the shorts were perfect size.

These are great for dance or gymnastics. But they are thin and very form fitting. And short. I would not allow my daughter to wear this during normal wear. But for gymnastics it is great because it’s comfortable and stays in place. It does not ride up. Plus it’s very cute.

The material is very nice and stretchy. It’s cool, slinky fabric. Doesn’t slide up for cartwheels and doesn’t bunch up or slide down with splits or any other acro activities. My daughter uses it for jazz and ballet and she feels very comfortable! There’s an extra layer of black fabric inside so it’s not see through. Overall, great dancewear for kids! I’ll definitely be getting more.
