The elastic will not narrow when stretched making it perfect for exposed waistbands on a gathered skirt or pants. It is also great for cuff bands and jacket waistbands. It can be used for waist bands, gloves, suspenders, belts, face mask straps, sporting goods, sweat bands, horse blankets and elastic pockets, among others. This elastic has already been preshrunk. I am using this elastic in the waistband of a pair of crochet shorts and it has performed very well. Stretchy and comfortable. It responded well to being sewn and I expect it to hold up well over time. You can definitely tell that this elastic is better quality then other options available on Amazon. I like that it has rubber in it as well.I am pleased and would definitely recommend this product.

This was handy to keep me from throwing away a perfectly good pair of camo overalls. I'm glad my wife was able to replace the straps. This material seems to be of good quality, has good stretch, we will see how long they hold up. Also, I've got a lot left over so am looking for another use for this material.

I am putting wide elastic under my mattress, and attaching hook & loop to the elastic and the sheet to (hopefully) keep the sheet from popping off the corners. This elastic was exactly what I envisioned.

This is durable, quality elastic with lots of stretch. Color and size are as advertised and comfortable for belt-making. Easy to use and a lot of product for the money.

We ordered this item to replace some elastic ties on a pair of gel cold packs--which get daily use--so we hope using this material will restore the function of the original ties. As described on the website, this product does indeed seem to be actually double-sided, and very strong.
