After I received this product, I tried it immediately on different spots of my lawn. I tried it on spot where the grass was so green and on the spot where it was light green. Then the result was different from each spot. "IDEAL" on the green grass spot and "TOO LITTLE" on the light green grass spot. I tried this also on my neighbors lawn whose lawn was not fertilized since last year and the result was way "TOO LITTLE". So it showed the correct result. I cleaned the rods after used. I was very glad that the product was "MADE IN THE U.S.A." and NOT from China.

Product does not work. It reads low fertility no matter what. Needle never moves more than 1-2 millimeters which is still on the low fertility reading. I have read every online review and recomendation for use and tip for use but the meter just does not work. Do not buy this product. It does not work and I would rather have one that provides actual levels of each nutrient instead of an overview of if my soil is fertile enough or not. It just is not worth it what so ever. Also, after getting a soul test kit I found that my soil was actually overly fertile and needed to be flushed, however my meter said not fertile soil. Big difference, not accurate.

Not sure how well this works.... Won't test what is really necessary... it was a good idea... gone bad... leaf tests are more accurate

I use it to check to see if my plants/my garden needs water. I've used it to see how powerful my grow light is. And, I've used it to check PH. At this price I'm just looking for a ballpark reading, nothing super accurate. So far I'm happy with it.

Seems to work only part of the time. I am not sure if it is due to the weather changes or not but not very accurate all the time.

Of course that it doesn't measure N, P or K individually but it gives you a good idea if any of those is out of the convenient proportions. Very good for the price!

I expected that the individual levels of Nitrogen, Potash and Phosphorus would be displayed to know what the soil is lacking not overall fertility

En el primer uso se aflojo una de las patas y todo viene sellado no se puede reparar y no encuentro como solicitar el cambio por uno en buen estado sin regresar el roto, el flete cuesta mas que una pieza nueva
