I am a master gardener and I buy a LOT of gardening products. I would never recommend this product to anyone. It does not perform as advertised and does not work well with small seeds as it claims to do. The plunger that dispenses the seeds does not fit tightly at the end of the seed tube and all of the small seeds simply fall out the end past the plunger. Works great as an item to throw in the garbage.

I was hopeful this item would easily dispense carrot seeds but it just poured out several at a time. I'll try again next spring.

I've used this little device twice since purchase, to plant radishes and carrots. It did not meet my original hope of surgically dropping exactly one seed with each push of the plunger; nevertheless it was helpful. With the radishes, each push released from zero to three seeds into the furrow. The carrot seeds are so small that each push released a light sprinkle; but with practice I learned to swing the seeder as it discharged the product. It worked smoothly, without jamming.This device is made of cheap plastic like you see on toys and giveaway ballpoint pens. I don't see it lasting more than a couple of seasons, but when mine breaks I will replace it immediately. That's because it got the job done in record time, and my poor aching back was spared the usual agony. And when the seedlings emerged, they were spaced better, far better, than I had ever achieved with hand seeding.

I tried the device but I may have been using it incorrectly. Seems I might have been able to use it if I could practice with it for a while. I could never get the process down. Either too much seed came out or not enough. I wasted a lot of seed before I realized I was not very good with the device. In theory it is a wonderful idea. In practice...you need practice.

Perfect for planting tiny little carrot seeds! We used this in our garden and will never go without it again. Simple little invention but makes planting SO much easier.

Small seeds fall out even when the plunger is fully seated. There’s no control of how many seeds exit the system. To make it worse the plastic is full of static electricity so seeds that don’t fall out won’t even discharge when you want them too. Don’t waste your money.

Es bueno siempre y cuando encuentre semillas del tamaño adecuado. Del tamaño de 1 ml y 2.5 mi. Si es inferior a ese rango puede salirse por la entrada de la tapa si es superior se atoran y no salen.

Le produit est arrivé cassé à 2 endroits. Le tube est craqué et l'embout a perdu un morceau qui empêche le mécanisme de fonctionner.Il faudrait peut-être éviter d'envoyer ce produit en enveloppe.
