I got this over another 1 inch plate holder because the other one had less holders for bars if needed. This has 6, the other has 4. This doesn’t have rubber guards but I don’t find that to really be necessary. For me the space for racking weights and space for holding bars is the best feature. It also has 6 bars to rack weights . I contacted the company because initially I had some issues but they were very quick and willing to help me so they did their best .This item also takes up less floor space the. The only other alternative I was considering, and yet it has more holders and more rack space . The metal is also strong. You Probably need some tool to tighten bolts but that’s probably the same for all the other racks out there

Gym equipment in the pandemic era is hard to come by. For a plate tree, this was one of the best priced ones I found available to ship. Was very pleased with purchase, not flimsy in the slightest. Knocked one star because I have to use the single side to hold 6 45s, 3 on each side. So leaves me unable to rack the 25s. But the 10s and smaller, + the barbell collars all fit on. Solid plate tree.

I have about 160lbs of weight plates and this was a perfect fit for my needs. I’m new to weight lifting and didn’t need anything fancy, just enough to organize the plates and get them off the floor. If you have a lot of plates or heavier plates this might not be a good fit. If you’re new to this and using mostly lower weights it’s a really nice product at a good price! There were two cons I saw:1. Didn’t come with a tool to assemble. It had all the parts including bolts and washers but no tool to get everything snugged up.2. The barbell holder doesn’t go very far up, so if you don’t make sure to “rest†the bar against the tree it bends the whole thing out. I can easily see that tearing or warping in the future.

Very good for smaller weights. Also good for bumper plates on the front/lower end. I have 2 of the 45 pound bumper weights on one side and both of my bumper 25’s and 10’s on the other side. I have 100 pounds of smaller weights (5x10 each side) on the top of the taller side and then 4x5 lbs plates on the bottom right and 4x2.5 on the bottom left. So just under 300 lbs total of weight. Seems to be able to handle it well. It will depend on the size of your plates obviously but it works well for my setup.

Good Unit. My guess is 300lbs will be the limit. Also, bar holders should be welded at the top and the bottom. So be careful removing your bar, you can tear the holders up pretty quick. Overall all happy with it but carrying 25Lbs plates and down for now.

I was looking for a tree weight and came across this gem. It was the perfect birthday gift I would definitely recommend this item and the price is very reasonable. I would just recommend to buy the clips to keep the weights in place.

Four center bolts holding upright pieces extend beyond side feet underneath product. Entire assembly rocks on these bolts. Bar holder too small for my 'standard' bar. Poor assembly instructions (though it wasn't a leap how to put together. Will be returning this poorly designed product.

The images of this item in the listing that show it holding several barbell plates are deceptive - full-sized (olympic-style) plates are far too large and you cannot use both the lower and upper holders as the full-sized plate almost touches the other holder. I will be returning this item. Very disappointed.
