I've had the dish drying mats in the past and this is way way better in both quality and in looks.I was completely surprised at how it works, I use this on a butcher block counter. It doesn't slip, it absorbs water and keeps the counter dry, which is extremely important for the wood.I like the size because I can fit my drying rack on it with extra room for other items.There's no yucky plastic smell or odor & it looks great.After I use the mat I hang it to make sure it is dry. I'm going to be buying more for my coffee bar and as gifts for a few good friends and family.

Wanted something nice under my newly purchased plastic iced wine chiller bucket so any condensate from the thawing ice, wouldn't be running all over the serving bar...This will soak, look very neat, and perfect size for the need! If it will soak up draining dishes, it'll be perfect for condensate from the ice bucket!!

Not sure how it absorbs all the water an and still feel dry. It looks good when in use and easily rolls up to store on a drawer when not in use. Matches my kitchen beautifully - definitely recommend it and it’s a good price point.

Would have given 5 stars if it was 1†or so larger in length and width. Sorry to be picky. Otherwise, excellent quality and absorbs water well.

I have this on my counter by my coffee station. I just love it. It matches my granite. It works well- you can move it around. It cleans up nicely.

I’d had a cloth dish mat for years, but it absorbed liquids and soon began to smell of mildew. Washing helped only for short periods. Finally found this mat and while it does not absorb water, living in a very dry climate helps with rapid drying anyway. Best of all, no smell.I use it to set recently washed pots or plastic containers, things I don’t put in the dishwasher. I don’t have a drying rack, so the items get placed directly on this mat. The one and only drawback, for me, is that if a container is placed down on the mat, with no break in its seal to let air underneath, it remains just as wet inside no matter how long it sets. So I make sure to put something small down, a silicone spatula for instance, and lean things against that, or against other items. This way no problem with drying. And no smell, a huge relief. I love this mat, and highly recommend it.
