These filters do their job! Replace them every few weeks. If you let them stay in too long, they get hard. Which shows that they’re doing their job, you didn’t do yours.. I use my humidifier continuously in the winter, so it’s helpful to get a big supply in this order.

I put some comparison photos in my review of my original Levoit filter compared with Pandeels' filters. They are the same size. The Pandeels' filter is slightly thicker in width and the holes are slightly smaller than Levoit's filter.----------I'm changing my original review back up to 5 stars because while I noticed that my filter was floating when I changed out the water (I haven't noticed the filters floating after this), I was able to contact Levoit directly and get an answer as to whether or not a floating filter would work and this is the reply I received: "Normally, this part will float up, however, when it becomes saturated with minerals, you may notice it sink. In any case, as long as the mineral absorption pad is touching the water it will help absorb minerals from the water."Also, this company offered me a refund from my original negative review which was commendable.I didn't take the refund since it was my mistaken assumption that the filters wouldn't work if they floated.
