Electronics plugged into my car's DC accessory outlet was draining my car battery overnight. I connected this module between the car battery and the outlet with some 16 awg speaker wire, and now the car starts every morning. You can pick from useful voltage cutoffs at 12.1, 11.4, 10.7 and 10.0. I am using the 12.1 volt cutoff to shut off the electronics shortly after I park the car.

This product should be an ideal solution for saving a battery from overdischarging. And it has separate settings for disconnect and reconnect, which avoids hysteresis. The problem is that it turns off randomly, even when the voltage is 0.6v above the disconnect setting. And then it has to removed from the battery and reconnected to reset it and have it work again. Until it turns off at a random time again...

I really can't give this a bad review because it seems to do what it is advertised to do. This is more for those folks who might think about using it in a solar application. This is for the 48V model which I ordered and received.I wanted to automatically switch my 10 amp, 48V solar panel input off dusk and on again at dawn. The day/night and night/day transition periods make my solar controller / battery system (Oukitel) constantly switch on and off as it errors out due to low input voltage until the voltage gets close to zero when it gets dark enough out. So, I put this in line and set it to disconnect at 40V and reconnect at either 45.6V or 48.4V. Theoretically, I figured this would work. Unfortunately, there is so much voltage variation coming from the panels, plus a significant voltage drop when the panels reconnect to the load (Oukitel), that this device itself will switch itself on and off (disconnect / reconnect) during the day/night transition periods. With a more stable input (battery instead of solar), as it is intended, I'm sure this will work just fine. I monitored the switching voltages and they were accurate.I'm keeping it and just using it as a manual on/off switch, which works great...

Worked like a charm. Set to 12.1 volts on and off, and it controls my heated grips the way it should have been done in the first place. The circuit on the grips was flawed and would kill my battery every time I forgot to shot it off.

Works well, the flexibility to change the voltages is really handy

I purchased the CZH-LABS LVD Module to solve a peculiar battery discharge problem. My dash cam worked fine with a 2-lead hardwire kit which allowed discharge to 11.4 volts before cutoff. All was well until old man winter arrived to drain my 850 CCA lead acid battery EVERY time the car sat for more than 2 days. That problem resolved IMMEDIATELY upon installing this module. I configured the switches for 12.1 disconnect and 12.8 reconnect. Now my vehicle can survive 6 days of idle and then crank right up on day 7 despite the frigid cold. Gotta love it!
