Very sturdy, most pins you buy are thinner and some even bend if the garment is too thick.

I have been keeping diaper pins on my jeans for over 40 years to unclog sprinklers. I know it is not the intended purpose but I am able to leave them on my clothing to go through the washer and dryer cycle. This is the first time I have had the plastic melt and deform to the point of not being usable. I will never buy plastic diaper pins in the future. In fact, I just ordered all metal pins to replace this inferior product.

Bought to secure prefold diapers granted I could never get the folds right for legs to be tight enough I love that these have the safety plastic end for when closed seem a lot sturdier than the traditional metal pins don’t seem to bend as easily

I got these to use as a pick pocket deterrent. They seem inconvenient enough to open a purse easily but easy enough to get into one’s own bag. I hope they work since I have not traveled yet.
