Ok not what I expected for a car. Probably to big. I prefer to use in the house. So, I gave away as gifts. If you have kids in your back seat it probably takes up space. Or you might need it to use for garbage. Either way, for me it didn't work in the car.
Much smaller and very thin. baby blanket thin.

I have several pop up trash bins in both mine and my spouse's car, so I was really caught off guard when I opened this up and out popped this big behemoth. I wasn't sure it would fit in my car - I'd guess it's the size of a standard office 14qt waste basket, but since my kids seem to miss the little trash cans in the back seat all the time, I figured I'd give it a shot. I took out their two small pop up car trash bins and squished this giant one into place and it has actually worked! The kids both get their trash in the bin about 90% of the time which is up from about 60% and is a huge improvement. I think their aim is better with the bigger target area.I wouldn't use this as a hamper or as a primary trash can, but for a larger vehicle trash bin that gets dumped out regularly, it gets 5 stars from me.

Going on a picnic, barbeque or even a long drive this makes a ideal trash can. Just place a plastic bag inside and once full just remove it and toss and have it ready to be used again. Its light weight and can be folded down making it flat for compact storage. You can even use it for that same purpose at home as well, just put it over in the corner or under the table. My son uses this in his room and it does the trick. It pops right up and it's a lightweight thing to move around. He often has it hanging on a wall hook so he can throw things into it, which makes it more fun of course. Can easily just stick on the floor in a corner just as easily as well. Folds right back up just as easily for hauling around if wanted.

It seems like it will work just fine for my camper. But the strap they have to hold it closed when it is collapsed DOES NOT HOLD IT CLOSED. You’ll have to store it a bag or something if you want to store it compressed.
