Update: Luckily I kept one of these even though I was allergic because they ignored the pretty metal one I had. I recently had FOUR hospital stays in 3 weeks where I was taken by ambulance each time. EVERY TIME the firemen, EMS, doctors, nurses, techs etc. ignored this bracelet and the other one and attempted to do BP or needle sticks. If I had not been conscious they would have proceeded causing further medical problems. Apparently they no longer pay attention. I don't know if they would have if it had been the old school ugly junior high id bracelet style or not. But they ignored this one as well as a beautiful silver one I bought that was so pretty. I bought a set of these for when I am doing yard work etc. and didn't want to risk damaging my metal bracelet. They arrived on time and were exactly as described. I had never worn "rubber" bracelets before. Unfortunately my arm broke out in a rash. I don't know if I am just allergic to rubber or if these had some kind of chemical coating that other rubber bracelets do not have. That's why I gave it 4 stars. If you have particularly sensitive skin you might not want to try these. They were bright and easily read unlike metal bracelets with small engraving. I am going to donate the rest to my doctor's office so they can give them to other patients with lymphedema that might not be able to afford to buy a bracelet. They fit well and tolerated the shower without the writing fading.
