- Replacement baffle board for US Stove Country Hearth 2500L / 2500LN / 2500E-P / 2500E-L / 2500E-BP / 2500E-BL, Ashley Hearth 2520E-P / 2520E-L / 2520E-BP / 2520E-BL, Breckwell SW2.5, and Vogelzang VG2520-P / VG2520-L / VG2520-BP / VG2520-BL. Check owners manuals as some 2500 stoves use 88146 (Lynn 2801A).
- Baffles in wood stoves and inserts are required to be in good condition to burn efficiently and meet EPA emissions regulations. The baffle, when working correctly, creates a secondary high temperature burn zone to reduce smoke emissions. Over time, it is normal for baffles to deteriorate and they can be easily broken during routine maintenance. Stoves with broken or missing baffles will burn less efficiently, smoke more, and not comply with emissions regulations. To ensure your stove is working efficiently and safely, inspect your baffles yearly and replace them when they have visible damage such as cracking or missing material.
- Lynn Manufacturing’s replacement baffles are designed from a special high temperature ceramic fiber alternative insulation that both insulates and can withstand high temperatures and chemical attack. This is an improved design which does not carry a respiratory health and safety warning, unlike ceramic fiber. This material is a replacement for vermiculite, ceramic fiber, and C-Cast.

This 100% fits the Ashley Hearth by US Stove 2500/2520. I took a grinder and hit one side to about and 1/8" and the rest was all good. Good fit this no issues. The last two I had were a softer fiberis board that cracked in half every year. This is a much harder material. Hoping to get multiple years with this material.

The manufacturer of my stove wanted a stupid amount of money for a fitted replacement baffle. This was half the cost. It cut easily and half way through the heating season it looks fine. The OEM material lasted 10 years. I hope this lasts as long.

This cementicouse baffle is a great replacement. I did have the "sand" one of the edges slightly but it just made the fit that much better.

It did not fit had to cut it to fit and it only lasted 2week, I installed it the day it came in. I would recommend buying a new stove because that’s what I’m going to do.

I tried this as a cover panel over a small crack in the bottom of the ceramic vermiculite refractory panel in my wood burning fireplace insert with a gas log lighter.I’ve been using the insert with the crack for years but wanted to add a safety layer so I bought this board.It’s very light, fit perfectly but after a little over 3 months, it simply fell apart.Looks like I’ll have to go to the local fireplace store and drop the $400 on a new refractory panel.

after curing longer than required I installed this as a fireguard in a fireplace after 3 fires 7pm to 11 pm a crack split the panel into 2 pieces 2 fires later a 4 inch section crumbled and I am out $100 so I know I will not get anywhere with the manufacture and would need to send it back to amazon in a baggie so a good review is not possible ---I would not purchase this product WELL I WAS WRONG --NEITHER THE MANUFACTURER OR I KNOW WHY I HAD AN ISSUE HOWEVER THE MANUFACTURER CONTACTED ME AND IMMEDIATELY PROVIDED A REPLACEMENT -- MANY THANKS TO LYNN MANUFACTURING --SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND G
