We have a new service/therapy dog in training & they told us to use a slip type lead leash as we are continuing to train her & start taking her into more public facilities. This leash is very sturdy, has sliding adjustmments for dogs neck size, & glows in the dark which is perfect for taking her out at night. Just what we needed!!!

My dog goes crazy when she sees a rabbit, and before I bought this leash she'd pull so hard that I'd lose my footing and fall to the ground. Now she still pulls, but stops quickly, without it hurtingher. It's well made, and is comfortable to hold.

I really like this leash for my heeler/husky mix as I had another thinner slip lead which quickly no longer became effective after 3 months of use. This is thicker and feels more durable. I love the first stopper and how it can “lock into placeâ€. My prior slip did not have this and since she has a huge prey drive and can easily be distracted by squirrels and bunnies it comes in handy with preventing slippage. My only critique is the second stopper that is closest to the dogs neck…just why?!?! Why is this here?!?! Unless it is in exactly the right spot laying flat against the neck it is stabbing into my dog. And even with it laying flat it was still just this uncomfortable and unnecessary piece digging into her. I got so fed up with this piece that I literally pried it off with the help of pliers and a lighter. Problem solved.

This slip lead does exactly what I need it to do. There is some space between my house and the fenced area I have for the dogs. I'm afraid without some kind of leash or slip lead on, these over active and young dogs would take off at the first sight of a squirrel, deer... or even a bird. These are easier to take on and off once at the fenced area than their chain collars. I have walked the dogs in these slip leads as well but as they still pull to much (though getting slightly better), their chain collars do better for walking and correcting behavior.

Great training leash. Like the “holds†on it. Trainer told me to leave it on all the time. Had never thought about that .Works great!

Very good stop mechanism. I have another slip lead that loosens so much on its own that the dog can easily back out of it. I think this one will work very well.
