My son plays a Jupiter trombone and I saw in one of the FAQ's of a different lyre that a smaller ring was needed to fit it. This one fits perfectly. His trombone is not a tenor.

I bought this for my son to use with his Conn large bore trombone. It doesn't fit.He was still able to make it work by attaching it to his mouthpiece. But it will not fit around the actual trombone tubing. I wish they had put more information in the description about that.

Exactly what my son needed for his trombone, wish it came with a drawing or something to know where to put it, after some investigating we found out it goes before the mouth piece, hope we got it right. Besides that it looks and works well

Doesn't fit on a regular student trombone, or tenor (suprisingingly) itll be better to just buy one for the bell of the trombone. I refunded this item but I don't need to return the item which is a plus I guess, it's waaay to tightly screwed in at first and when it's finally unscrewed and attached, it's near impossible to screw it back so it just wobbles. Therefore, just buy a bell lyre

It was impossible to get it to stay upright. We'd put it on, and tighten the screw, but the smooth metal-on-metal just allowed it to turn over with the music on it. The pep band season is over, but next year I'm going to find something that has some grip.

This trombone lyre didn’t fit my trombone. Definitely do more research before buying.

The lyre was as described and arrived promptly. I actually made it into a trumpet lyre by bending it into a position that matches my trifocal vision field, so this is not the intended use but it works quite well.
