静電容量の変化を感知するセンサーを備えており、センサー部分に何か近づくものがあり、静電容量が変化して、閾値を超えれば スイッチの状態が変化するものですね。タッチしてもいいのですが、タッチまでいかない非接触の状態でも静電容量は変わるので、非接触のタッチセンサーとして使えるわけです。メカニカルな部分がないのと、センサーに近づくのは 指でももちろん反応しますが、容量が変わればいいので、通電しないガラスでも、液体の水面でも反応させることができます。3線式なので、センサーの動作電源を独立に提供することができます。配線の色が独特ですね。茶: 電源+ 青: 共通GND 黒:スイッチ状態 　加える電源電圧と、センサーの反応距離には関係があります。高電圧の方が センサーから遠くても反応します。5V ぐらに電圧からスイッチとして動作し始めます。安定化電源とオシロスコープで動作を確認しました。
