Sometimes springs break or wear out and these are great replacements.

These retainer springs are exactly what I would anticipate - they fit, and work fine on my air hammer. The quality is right up there with any of the others I have used over the years. So, it ultimately comes down to value, and in this case you get four springs for $18, and at that price point I see this as a good value.
