These are made of thin plastic to flex around the wire when inserting or removing. Mine broke while inserting the second pin socket. Granted its a cramped 79-pin connector but some added strength of the tool is needed. If you are careful, you can insert without the tool and the pin snaps in. The removal side worked well. These are inexpensive do I ordered a few more. It would be good to find a metal version of this exact tool.
