This device seemed appropriate when we purchased and received it in September 2018. We use it only for an hour a day for 7 days per month of activity. At this point, months later, but only hours of use later (less than 30 hours use time) the unit has completely crashed and reads "0.00" where it used to define data points. We replaced the 12Vdc 20W Halogen bulb at the local hardware store and now it works great. Support from the manufacturer in China was via email and fast.
