I was ready to replace the battery in my 2017 MacBook because it wouldn't start sometimes it wouldn't charge it was give me all kinds of hassles so I ordered the new battery and then was reading an article that said that you should make sure to charge your MacBook with the appropriate wattage charger. I noticed that I had been charging it within old USB charger that didn't have the same Watts listed. I think this MacBook needs to be charged with 87 Watts or above charger. Well that did the trick and my MacBooks been working perfectly charges up to 100% and lasts about 3 or 4 hours on the charge which is only maybe an hour less than what the new battery is supposed to give it so the new battery is sitting there waiting for me to be bored enough to spend two or three hours to install it, but until then discharge your saved my macbook pro... It actually fixed my son's also which was having the same problems not charging he has a smaller 13 inch I think it was a 2016. I did do all the SMC reset and if you Google you'll find litany of things to do to try to fix your battery so I did also do those so they may have worked in conjunction with the charger. But they didn't work until I got the new charger if that makes any sense. I guess I'm saying once you get the new charger try the SMC reset and the other things that you should do to reset the way your MacBook responds to charging and battery usage.

I bought this because I left my original charger at a friend's while traveling. I thought about having them ship it to me, but decided that it would be better to order a second charger. Amazon shipped it as quickly as my friend could have. This way I can keep the original Mac charger at home (when I get it back, when I travel there again next month) and keep this new one in my computer travel bag. I unpacked it, plugged it in and it is charging right now. It will be nice to unplug the laptop and not have to deal with the cord when I am packing to leave town, since I will have one in the bag... now if I can just remember that I DO have to put it back in the bag when leaving a hotel/cabin/etc.!

Wife lost the cube and cord for her MacBook, borrowed mine, then lost mine in less than a week. I purchased this for my MacBook Pro. It had good reviews and a good enough price for me to be ok if it didn’t last long. It even had a coupon.It lasted six months before the cord began to come loose on both ends, then periodically not work, and month after that the cube died.For the six months prior it supplied as good of a charge and my original Apple charger, and as fast too. So, for $25 I had a charger as good as original and was reliable for a solid six months. Even if the next unit only lasts lasts six months too, I feel like I would still be getting my moneys worth.

This charger puts my phone is a different charge rate called “super fast chargingâ€. That’s right, when you plug it up, the screen says something different than when using the smaller chargers. My large iPad will charge while being used now (unlike all of my other chargers).The only downside is that charging a battery too quickly gets the battery a bit warm which is not good for it. But the speed that the phone charges is phenomenal. Great if you are in a hurry.

I forgot my charger at home while I was traveling so I ordered this one offline. It worked fine for a couple days but it would grow very hot, which is pretty common for a transformer so I wasn’t too worried. Then I went to plug it in and the plug broke off and something fell out. I tried popping it back together but it kept falling back apart. Eventually I noticed that its glue keeping some of the parts together had melted because of its own extreme heat so I wasn’t going to be able to simply put it back together. Some more parts started falling out as well so the whole thing is in pieces now. It’s frustrating since it was already pretty expensive of a fix for a temporary problem but then it didn’t solve my problem for more than a few days. I would return it but since I am traveling I didn’t hold onto the box so I’m just out of luck.

I wanted a second charger to keep in my bag as I got tired of having to unplug mine or forgetting to take it with me. This works perfectly with my 15" MacBook Pro and doesn't overheat like my Apple charger can!

This is a great option for the MacBook pros in the 2019 genera as some of the newer chargers seem to overpower this MacBook gen! This charger provides is a nice affordable option with just the right amount of power! It gets slightly warm which I feel is normal! It charges at the perfect speed for this year MacBook Pro…. I am happy with this purchase!

Usei por uns 3 ou 4 dias. Percebi que a fonte estava aquecendo muito. Já era tarde, depois de um dia inteiro usando em sala de aula o Mac apagou e não volta mais.

Carregador não funcionou. Mac reconhece a conexão, mas não carrega (Ãcone de tomada sobre a bateria).Não recomendo.
