A tad bassy maybe, but I found these to be very clear, loud, and well balanced. Hard to beat for the price, especially when you consider all the input options.

I have fun as a MIDI Keyboard player, these monitors are more than satisfactory. My goal was to have a laptop, a keyboard and Bluetooth monitors and it was not so, the latency can not be overcome. I strike a note and I hear it a 1/4 second later...not good. As for the TV and Bluetooth, no problem. These monitors are just fine.

Everything was fine until I started using them everyday and that was just over a week. First it started making a static noise and just went out. I know these are budget studio monitors but man. Now I have to some more monitors.

I am very pleased with these speakers. The mids and highs are crisp, clean, and loud. The low end is weak. That is to be expected since the laws of physics are immutable. I use them in conjunction with a set of (separetely amplified) 10" stage monitors and the result is awesome. In my opinion the best value on the market for small studio monitors. I got the Bluetooth version and even though I won't be using it a lot, well worth the extra $20. It is nice be able to sit back with a tiny little MP3 player and have thousands of tunes in the palm of your hand running untethered through a small set of quality speakers.
