I really like this bias tape maker kit. The instructions were easy to understand. I use this to make the edging around the quilts that I make. I usually buy store bought bias tape. I saw this and wanted to give it a try. It is so nice to actually make the edging from the same material as the quilt. It looks so much more professionally done. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone who likes short cuts to their sewing needs.

This is an excellent product. Second item I’ve purchased from Madam Sew. I will definitely be purchasing some of their other products. Nice case with foam holding pieces so things don’t get tossed everywhere. Clear directions and links for additional videos.Took me much longer to cut out the fabric than it did to fold and press the strips. Some tips: go slowly, press the folded fabric REALLY well, wrap around a card or something as you go (it wants to unfold as it cools, make sure to clip the seams joining strips so edges are really smooth and minimal seam allowance.

This is a really nice set and comes in a great storage box. It works with my Crofton (Aldi) sewing machine with no problem. It's nice that it comes with several sizes of tools for different bias tape widths. My only gripe with it is poking the fabric into it and pulling it is a pain, but I don't see any other way it could be done. It does come with sturdy awlspecifically for this purpose. Overall it's nice quality and I would buy it again.

I always look forward to getting my “Madam Sew” products. This time was no different. I had been eyeing this particular bias tape making set for a while and am so glad that I was finally able to get it. It definitely is quick and easy to use and came in a nice container for safe keeping. I am now able to customize all of my bias tape and can make them as thin or wide as I want. I love using Madam Sew’s items and will continue to do so in the future. This one is definitely a keeper!

I received this just in time to sew the tape edge on my Sunbrella boat bow cover I was making. It was easy to make the bias tape and the presser foot fit perfectly on my Kenmore machine. The quality is good. It's not commercial level but it is working great for what I am going to use it for. And at a 1/8 of the price of the other product, I was looking at. I don't think you go wrong at this price.

This is not made for bulky quilts. The instructions are accurate. However even using the largest bias maker, it cannot handle a large bulky quilt. It may be OK for a thin baby quilt or other similar projects. I cannot return the unused bias maker since it is now out of the return date range. So I’m stuck with something that I’ll probably never use.

I had been searching for an easy to use bias tape maker for a while. This kit is perfect for making cute tie strings for home masks and surgical caps. It is easy to use and efficient. It is also great for making bias tape to edge my blankets. I highly recommend this product.
