I am 5’ 5 1/2”, 145 lb female. Ordered coat in brown size large(my usual dress size). The coat is perfect desired length just below calves. Otherwise the coat is very large—probably a 16/18. Carefully inspected all stitching and padding which are excellent and thickness is good for proper warmth. Examined full length zipper and snaps on front opening and zippers on pockets which all worked properly and were attached properly. The zippers work smoothly but are not industrial strength to withstand careless rough use. Coat is well proportioned and comfortable and warm. Will need rain repellent applied because not waterproof. Weight is comfortable, Love the rich chocolate brown color. Hood is well shaped and will cover large head with lots of hair covered by knitted bogan. I would wash on light cycle to protect filling. I will return coat only because it is too large—I need a true USA size 12.

I am very happy with this coat. The fit is great. I am 5' 6". It comes to mid calf on me. I am pear shaped. I wear size L on top and XL on the bottom. The large fits me well. The elastic at the back cinches it enough to keep it from looking too boxy. The chocolate color is very nice. It is very warm. My only complaints are that the sleeves are a little long on me and the hood is not removeable. Neither is deal breaker.

Ok so originally I was going to return because the 1x is like 2xl/3xl in sizing! I decided not to because it really is a beautifully made coat it has weight and is super soft and not too much puff. I've had really expensive coats before and this coat gives that look and feel. I don't like that the different sizes are different prices. Also get a puffer belt sold separately prob $10 and even if it's big it will look good cinched at the waist. I'm happy, got mine for $30 you can't even get a hoodie for that this coat is excellent and warm get it keep one in storage, give it to someone you love 💕

I ordered a 2x last minute for an eagles game that was calling for snow and hail. We were out for hours tailgating and at the game in snow and freezing rain, and I was warm and dry! I’m a solid size 18/2x with F cups, so in coats I usually try to size up to a 3x so I know it will zip. I went with the 2x because it was all that would arrive in time - I had plenty of room for layering and it fully zipped! I would say this runs large. At 5’4” it came mid calf on me, and it has nice deep pockets that zip as well. It is figure flattering as well. If you’re between sizes, I recommend going with the smaller of the two, and I think a 3x would fit people in go usually wear a size 24/26 or a 4x due to it being a very roomy fit. Great price as well! I got it for $60. More recently, I wore it to the Eagles Super Bowl Parade on a cold windy day, when we were outside for 10 hours and I was very toasty!

I love this jacket. It’s thick enough for harsh winters. Zippers are really good quality.Sleeves are a bit long. I wear size medium and it’s pretty nice and loose. I can wear a bulky sweater under it and it does not feel tight. I will order another color too but this time I will order small size because medium is a bit loose. And I like it. But I will buy a smaller size with different color because this jacket is exactly what I have been looking for. It’s pretty long too so it covers everything. I’m 5 feet 3 inches and 125 lb so medium size worked for me and I think small will be fine too.

I wear a size 3X. Most of my weight is in the waist & lower abdomen. I read reviews and for the first time they were right about this coat running big. I have a beautiful car length Sporto coat, size 2X, that is too right this Winter. Thus my search for a new coat. Can't find a plus sized car coat length. This Madden Girl coat was the closest thing so I bought it in a 3X. Boy oh boy it's big! I could wear another winter coat underneath it! Should I have sent it back? Yup! Did I? Nope! I was nervous that the 2X might be too tight as sizing is always off when made in China. The lengthbon this coat is ridiculous. I'm 5' 5" and it falls 6 inches from my ankle!! I feel like I'm wearing a sleeping bag. Clearly I won't be wearing this outside of blizzards. I'll stick to my shorter winter coat. The hood on this coat is excellent! It doesn't fall over your face like they all do. It actually fits a womans head. It does not offer a zip off hood, which should be standard on every winter coat. The sleeves are too long, but that's an issue for me with all coats, long sleeved tops. It also doesn't have a belt which would have helped cinch the coat since it is too big. I just ordered belt loops off Amazon and will sew them on this coat. I will use my belt from the Sporto coat I have, to cinch the waist on this Madden Girl coat. That will solve the larger sized issue. If anything, I can always use it for a blanket lol. Seriously, size down on this coat!!!

Love this coat! I got it big so I could layer under it. I am 5 foot 5 inches 185 lbs and got a 2X, It goes down to my ankles! The pockets are huge and it's so warm! I love the extra snaps at the legs and it has a sturdy zipper. Great budget friendly coat ($38ish when I purchased it)

I like it. It's very warm. Very long. Comes midi length. Very hard to zip up. Still haven't got it zipped up. I use the snaps but air gets in there. Haven't worn it outside and super heavy duty cold yet. I wish I could zip it up but it's very complicated cuz it's way too long but it fits me well. I bought two sizes under I bought a medium instead of a extra large. I thought it was made very well. No rips, no tears. Might just use the snaps. Hard to bend down and zip it up when it's way down there. LOL! Unless you can zip up from the top, there are two zippers on it. I don't quite understand that I've got to lay it out and take another look at it cuz I don't know how anybody could zip it up from below their knees

Researched for a coat with all the specs I wanted and needed, lol. Took my time. Then found " The Coat"....THRILLED!... Quality, style, warmth, length, zipper, buttons, Value. Everything!Came quickly, tried it on....ugh. Way too big...med...many said to order your actual size so I did. It is just way too big. Exchanging for small...hoping it will be the right fit👍😁

Me quedó muy grande. Pero no de mangas porque tengo brazos largos. No lo voy a cambiar porque así puedo usarlo con un suéter grueso abajo y no se va a ver apretado.Es Madden Girl y está acabado muy fino y perfecto además de que es súper calientito!

It’s very short and thin - not long and warm enough for Canadian winter. The quality is mediocre at best, not worth the hefty price tag. I wouldn’t recommend it!

I bought this after reading the reviews and asking a question about the sizing. If you are an 8-10, the small will fit you nicely with work clothes underneath. It has a zip and buttons with a hood attached so you will definitely feel warm. I just bought this so have to wait till winter to try it out but for the price I paid, I'm quite sure I won't go wrong.
