This cat toy is very sturdy- easy to assemble, and my cats love it!! This is the best cat scratcher post I’ve purchased. Worth the $$ and quality wood and rope tree!

Our kitten loves this toy. It entertains him endlessly BUT it does fall over and might be too small for a bigger cat. He is currently 10ish weeks and has really enjoyed it for the last 2 weeks or so of his life. He is tiny. This toy is small. It would be nice if the tall part was on the wide part of the base but it is not. Despite this we keep it out for him because he really enjoys the toy. It's also really pretty for a cat toy. So-it looks good and works well until it doesn't :)

I bought this for my kitten about a year ago. Her favorite part is hitting the balls back and forth in the wooden base. It's even fun for me to roll them around lol. We will make a game of hitting them back and forth to each other. She hasn't used the scratch post much but enjoys playing with the dangling pom pom ball. I really love the sturdiness and quality of this. It's not too big, easy to move around, and doesn't take up much room which is nice. It has a pleasing natural aesthetic which is nice as well. Fun to have! Has held up really well for over a year now.

If you have a cat that loves to scratch like a maniac then this is definitely a good buy. I got it for my nephew’s cat, and my mother mentioned that it seemed pretty cheap, but upon my own visual inspection, it actually is pretty decent for the price. My cousin’s cat ignores all of the other scratching posts in the house, but is obsessed with this particular post. So obsessed that within six months I had to buy a new one because his cat tore every single piece of rope right off of it. The wood is fantastic and still intact but like I said the cat scratched the entire rope off of it. I ordered a second one for his cat and 3 months in the rope is almost gone, but the cat still loves it and I am sure I will end up buying a third. What would really be cool is if they just made the top replaceable. I’m not into disposable things that litter up our landfills, but instead of having to dispose of the entire scratching post, it would be great if they just made the top replaceable then you could keep the base because the base of these are still in perfect condition. I wanted to order one for my cat but I have a feeling she will scratch it up within a few weeks (she has been known to trash all of her posts and beds).. It’s also nice looking as it is pretty small, the wood is decent, and it fits with almost any decor… the only bad thing is that while it fits with an any decor, the ropes are hanging off of it.If I buy three of the same item, then I obviously like it. Again, I wish the manufacturer would just sell a replacement top for it.

To start, this thing absolutely requires being glued, screwed, or taped to the floor in order for it to not tip over at the first pick of a claw. I have a roll of thick double-sided 3M tape I used, but it was useless for scratching without it.The rope sheds like CRAZY, I’m vacuuming the thing every single day. It also hasn’t held up at all; I’ve had this item for a whopping 3 weeks and as you can see the rope has already been cut.I’d rather see a $15-18 price tag on this item.

My seven cats love it. It made very well. They play with the bales in the base. It has heat catching ability. Very easy to clea. It’s priced right. My best buy ever.

Assembly is super simple and everything works/ rolls well. My kitten is obsessed with it. We have to hide it at night otherwise she keeps us awake playing with it.

The baby of the family (15 yrs) gives 5 pads up.The older 2 ladies occasionally give a swat but aren't taken with it.It's as advertised - I did get 2 balls in each track.The edges are very smooth - it's lovely piece of wood and finished very well. Very nice.You can pop in nuts or other small balls - when she pops them out she chases and plays a bit.It's compact enough to tuck/turn away easily.I would offer to the mfg/seller giving customers the option to just buy the base. It's probably offered elsewhere.The scratching post - while I was wishing and hoping it would get used - it is not and won't.A trial product might be a circuit ball toy - cost is much less.

I bought this because it seemed like something our kittens would like while also matching our home decor. It's quite well made and the cats took to it immediately, playing with the soft ball, then the ping pong balls, then the scratching post. Just be aware that it's not very stable and probably best for smaller cats
