I own a very nice Lands End backpack that I like to use for travel/sightseeing. The problem is that the straps are a bit short for my big/tall frame. I purchased these quality straps and was able to increase the length of my backpack straps to where I can comfortably use my pack, with all the adjustment I’d ever need, especially when wearing a coat or rain jacket.I cut the original straps off my pack, leaving about 10 inches or so. I then attached my new straps, cut to desired length and used a lighter to seal the strap ends. Works great and I also have a detachment point at the buckle to quickly remove my pack if I’m wearing heavier winter clothes.

Needed some straps to attach a padded combat belt to a vest with no belt loops. Since both items have MOLLE on them I had an ingenious plan. Get some cargo straps and run them through the vest and padded combat belt MOLLE loops. Works like a charm. You can use this for other things besides my needs. I got the 2 foot ones so about the only thing that I could use them for aside from this would be as bundling straps or in an emergency a tourniquet. Good quality straps from what I can see but time will only tell as to how long they will last.

I use these straps to make belts for each of my pants. I just leave them on the pants all of the time. Snap them closed when you wash them, and they wash up just fine. I bought a set a year ago, and they are as good as new. I just bought some more to add to new pants.

I got these for sleeping bags and they just didn’t stay put. Maybe if they were used for something else long and easy to use just didn’t hold.

I used the clips and webbing to make an extension strap for another piece of gear. Clip engagement is nice and crisp. Webbing seems to be decent quality. Time will tell on UV resistance, other than that they seems to be cost effective solution for anyone wanting to make their own molle straps.

I bought these for an unusual application, which is to hold pillows I have propped up on the back of my chair. I need to retighten it every few days. I'm sure the movement it's under causes it to happen. It would be nice if they held firmer. Maybe I'm looping it wrong, I don't know. The buckle or whatever you call it comes seperate and there's no instructions, but that said there's only so many ways to try it. I will probably buy an alternate in the future.
