This is a nice, roomy crock pot. I am able to cook a very large roast with tons of vegetables and still have plenty of room. It works very well, cooks evenly. It doesn't burn food and it is super easy to clean.

Our older 7-quart crockpot just didn't have the capacity for some stews - we kept getting perilously close to the top! This slow cooker with its 10-quart capacity solves that with 1.5"-2" to spare. Additionally, the removable inner pot is very lightweight relative to common ceramic pots, and that makes handling it MUCH easier. The inner non-stick surface is easily cleaned by hand in a couple of minutes. Best, the full metal pot can be moved to the sink (note 8-quarts of stew weigh about 16 lbs) and surrounded by cold water which quickly cools the stew or soup - much faster than first filling plastic containers. When the first batch of cooling water gets warm, just transfer the pot to the other side of the sink (or countertop) and let the warm water drain away, then fill the sink again with cold water. Repeat as needed. We can cool 8-quarts of hot stew to about room temperature in 40 minutes, ready to transfer to refrigerator or freezer containers. We have made two batches of stew so far and I am exceptionally pleased with this slow cooker. I like having an LED 'ON' light, too - most crockpots don't have one.FYI, I measured the power consumption as: Warm 18W, Low 180W, High 270W. We mostly use Low overnight. The outside surface of the slow cooker does get uncomfortably HOT and this is the only minor negative - I wish they would add more insulation and/or a double-wall air gap to keep the outside cool.

This thing is great. We have a large collection of "crockpot" type cookers. Several 6-8 quart and a another half dozen of various smaller ones. Great for host large events. But this cooker is head and shoulders above the others. 10 quarts, but weighs less than the 6 quart size, a non-breakable inner pan, nice rubber handles so hot pads not needed to lift it, and you really can cook things on the stove in it. Browned the chicken for chicken curry in the pan and saved dirtying another pan for that job. Would be happy if all the smaller "crockpots" were made like this one.

I like the stainless steal surface. It does however get very warm. Need to be very careful nothing is close to it.It is very lightweight. Even the insert is much lighter than a crock is. I was concerned it would not hold the heat well but it seems to.Over all satisfied with this purchase.

I have a cast-iron sink, so when you’re washing a slippery soapy crock I always worry about breaking it. Also, I wanted something bigger than my 6 quart crockpot as we have a family of five. I absolutely love this crockpot! I can brown my meat on my stove top without having to dirty an additional pan and then add things to my crockpot and let it cook. Nothing sticks to it! It cleans up like a dream! Loved it so much. I ended up buying three more for my sisters for Christmas.

Unfortunately this cooker is not compatible with UK voltage. Not sure why it is being advertised in this country. Now have the inconvenience of returning it to the US.It's in a very large box so have had to ask for help to get it to a courier as was told it could not be collected from home. Not to mention all the packaging and paperwork involved, I am also very disappointed. A refund has been promised but this was all so unnecessary.
