There are four books in this set and all of them really help develop a child’s find motor skills. The grooves on the pages help guide the pen, yet the child must still follow and trace the letter, number, drawing, etc. After using, the ink magically disappears and the page can be reused. The two attached photos show the ink in the grooved lines, and then again about fifteen minutes later. As you can see, the ink has already started to disappear after about fifteen minutes. In addition, the books are educational with the alphabet and numbers, as well as fun with the drawings. The books are designed to last many years.

This stuff is magic! You can write all over the paper with the provided pen and within 24 hours, it's just gone. Of course, if you are pushing too hard on the book you will be left with impressions of where you were writing but I can assure you that this could be used for many years to come with all the spare pen refills! The ink pen rolls smoothly, gliding across the paper is a breeze and it feels like a regular gel pen to the hand. I would recommend this for any kids age 3-5
