This product does not contain Serialized Ring cards, including the Serialized Elven, Dwarven, or Human Sol Ring cards, and the 1 of 1 Ring (Serialized 001 of 001). Serialized Elven, Dwarven, and Human Sol Ring cards can only be found in some The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Collector Boosters. While this might be one of the weaker of the 4 lord of the rings precons, you can make it fantastic with just a few tweaks.Lots of valuable cards and some fun mechanics with either a vote based commander or a crying deck.For the price it’s totally worth it.

Of course, I’m a Rings nerd, so having a deck in this set was a no-brainer. I chose the elf deck because of my liking of the characters, not necessarily because I thought it’s the strongest commander deck. And it isn’t… but it’s not expensive to ‘fix’ if you do want to buff this deck up, and it is still extremely satisfying.I went for a political elf ball with limited scrying, in my tuneup. Now this deck is a real powerhouse, going wide and tall very quickly and body slamming the opponents’ decks before landing with many heavy elf boots on the players’ life totals. So yup, I’m loving it.

The Elven Council Commander Deck looks to be a terrific addition to the Magic: the Gathering - Lord of the Rings expansion set. Primarily blue-green, it adds a healthy number of legendary characters, spells, lands and more to the game. Definitely worth the money!

This deck is fun and came on time with 2/3 other decks I preordered. We’ve never had a problem preordering through Amazon until now… Unfortunately the 4th - the Sauron deck I was promised - was not delivered, and I had to cancel the “attempt†to resend when available because I’ve moved since preordering. Also reviews aren’t allowed on that item so I’m cross posting here. But this deck is fun, and we enjoyed trying it out!! Excited to play it against the Sauron deck when we get it!
