These were purchased for students in an art class, because of the size it made it challenging to roll over paper and add pressure but we made it work.

The rubber brayer itself is only 1 and 1/4 inches the 1.9 they reference is from outside screw to screw. Disappointing, but the quality seems good so far.

Perfect for the classroom or if you just need lots of extra brayers on hand. I’ve recently gotten back into linoleum printing so like having a few extras as I always misplace my things (yay ADHD).

Please be aware: these are very small brayers. That said, they are a nice quality. They roll smoothly and nicely and pick up ink and roll it on well. Would be good for smaller, precision work. Because the roller was so narrow, it took a lot of time just to cover even a small, postcard sized block with ink.Size is small, but the quality is nice.
