Kit was super easy to use. You can melt the soap right in the microwave. You don't even have to have like any special equipment love it

This didn’t come with any directions & I have no idea how to make soap, that’s why I ordered the starter kit. It does contain a lot of items, though.

The instructions were very vague. They could have written more detail instructions. The mold is very thin.

**UPDATED** The mold actually held up well, I couldn't move it without a tray under it once filled but that might be true of other silicone molds as well. The soap itself was fine and performed well once made. Everything in the kits turned out great, though some of the items I might not use. The only thing that ended up being garbage was the silicone spatula, it completely came apart when mixing so that won't be used at all. Otherwise I actually would recommend this kit if you are just dipping your toes in to see if you like Melt and Pour.I got this kit from my son for my birthday, so I won't be returning it. But if I could I would. The kits itself comes with some very nice stuff for making soap. The soap block looks a little odd, but I haven't used it yet so it could just be the packaging. I'm used to blocks and this is a squished flat rectangle. As long as it melts fine I don't care. The real issue is the molds. They are so flimsy I'm worried about spilling or not being able to move it at all once the soap is inside. The quality of silicone is definitely lacking so I can't in good conscience recommend this product. Maybe once the molds are more solid, but for now I'm a little disappointed.

Fun to do but they should give you more soap to work with
