About Us
In 1976, identical twin brothers, Jim and Jerry Mashburn, created Magma Products. They were two young California sailors who, besides their love of sailing, loved to barbeque. However, experiments with attaching grills to their boat proved unsuccessful. After a short time attached to the stern of Jim and Jerry's boat, the grills simply rusted out and became completely unserviceable. Over 40 years later, the brightly polished Stainless Steel familiar shape of a Magma Grill can be seen. That original charcoal grill is still available and is now complemented with several round and rectangular propane models. There are mounting devices to accommodate any possible boating need, Cookware and Fillet Tables to help prepare and to serve your Marine Cuisine on board, Umbrellas to keep you shaded while doing so, and anti-roll devices to steady the boat while you enjoy your favorite meal. The most important product that Magma has produced, however, has been confidence.

Tried high flame and burned the meat regardless of setting. Tried low and not enough heat to cook in a proper time.This medium is perfect.

This control valve is just right for my old Magma grill and it works great. I purchased the Medium pressure control valve as i had heard that the low pressure valves would go out. This medium pressure valve will adjust from high to low and stays lit. One word of caution is that this valve will not fit into the old style Turbo Venturi Tubes so you have to buy the new tube as well.

My old one is all clogged up, probably from corrosion from being immersed in a seat locker out in the cockpit for a year or so. Funny how that happens. I went to everyone's favorite yacht chandler and the sticker shock sent me to amazon. This is a good price and well worth the two days it took for me to get it.

This is a good option for the 18†Magma BBQ. Was confused when researching what flow rate to get, so went with the medium. Allows for low heat, as well as a fairly high top setting. I’m satisfied with the performance, so I’m just going to stick with the medium.

It was the exact replacement for my Magma BBQ, works great, arrived quickly. The only complaint unit is a little pricey but this seller was the best price.
