The batteries were defective. I put them in the remote and the remote didn't work. When I checked the batteries they were leaking in the remote and I had to throw them away.

This model is one of the best. Good reception, program guide is simple to use and has good info. Picture comes in clear. Fairly simple to setup and use. Used other brands after my original one started to fail but had to find this one and get again since it was way better

I just order mines few days ago and i love it... I ordered the used one with no remote, no coax cable, no retail box, manual nor anything.... So what i did i used my universal remote and it works!!!!!! I got my own coax cable and purchased myself antenna. Good Picture. The sound is low but i have to get used to it. The seller is right, No original remote... But i love the picture and it's so clear....

Didn't come with remote or a/v cords just a box...I don't know how i am supposed to use it without a remote.. i am going to try a universal remote other wise i'll be trying to get a refundEdit: Even though it came with only a box.. no a/v cords or remote.. I was able to buy them.. which if i had known i would have to spend the extra cash i would of went with a different box for around the same price that might of came with a remote and a/v cords.

all I can say is great box, had a minor problem in the beginning, but nothing the 1-800 number cant help you with..yes I would purchase again.worth every penny.

I purchased this as a gift for an elderly man we help out. He has had one on his TV forever and it finally went out. This was hooked up in a jiffy and he could watch TV again which made him VERY HAPPY!!!! He does not have cable, just gets the channels off the air waves. So with him being so VERY HAPPY; MADE ME SO VERY HAPPY!!!!
