It's magnetic! I was trying to find a well-reviewed magnetic chalkboard that wasn't too big/too expensive. This is it! I'm only using this for magnetic letters. The magnetic hold is strong and I'm very happy with the look. For size, the letters on my board are 1 inch.Tip: Remove a screw on one side to peel off the plastic protection. Put the screw back in and then do the same with the other side. It's much easier this way and you can remove every bit of plastic.

We use magnetic boards to display magnets we get when we travel. I really like this one because it has the added feature of a chalkboard so that we can make note of dates, etc. Good quality and will be purchasing more.

I bought this to replace a raggedy whiteboard I had used for our tap list. This is an exceptional replacement! It looks great on the kegerator (I glued magnets to the back), especially using chalk pens for the artwork.

It's a good size, and what I needed. However, this thing warped so badly in just a month. I had it leaning against the wall because I didn't have time to put it up. By the time I got around to it, it's now warped. It's not humid in my apartment and I didn't have anything but magnets on it.Also the tiny little screws they give you for attaching the hooks are impossible to work with.Very unhappy with it.
