We have an old home with original kitchen cabinets. One would not stay closed. It literally drove me insane. I was ready to rip the cabinets out and put new in. However, we are currently remodeling a bathroom, so that is a no go at this time. My boyfriend had a hard rule, one room at a time. So, I tried these and it’s a complete game changer! I didn’t even use the nails that come with it, although I’m sure you could for added support. Maybe I will later on. I’ve had these for over a month and they stuck on easy, and have stayed in place and have a great magnetnetic connection. You need to follow the directions, if you try to use them as you probably feel they should work, they won’t! If you follow the design and directions, they are amazing! Strongly recommend!! Would purchase 10 times again!

Our kitchen cabinets never stayed closed. I looked into self closing hinges and they are not cheap. This was an elegant solution. I used the adhesive mounting option and it has held for 6 months. Good product.

Used these for custom cabinet doors in the mud room. They are not very strong unless they make perfect contact. It’s very difficult to install perfectly, even with the included sticky gel pads. The pads allow them to move as they’re being screwed in so it doesn’t line up quite perfectly. …and then the doors don’t stay closed.

Very happy with the product - served my purpose and got my drawers to stay shut. However I ended up with twice as many as I needed and returned half of them as the description is wrong - the 8 pieces 4 pack contained 8 sets of catches each with 2 pieces. They work well and you only need one catch per door/drawer. Bigger doors or drawers you might need 2 catches top and bottom or each side, but so far one is sufficient for my application.

I would be absolutely shocked if this has 1/4 lb worth of strength when installed. Tried in 4 different locations and it’s as if I did nothing. The last time my wife farted in the other room and the drawer opened. Don’t waste your money.

So after reading reviews I decided I needed 8 pieces to complete my project due to the weight of the magnetic blinds I wanted to hang on my door. I used the double sided tape and nailed them in as apposed to using the screws included. Three magnets to each corner at the top of the door and one on each bottom corner. I couldn't be any happier as the blinds have held on! So hard to find patio door blinds under $200 and this definitely got the job done, thanks!
