Not all screws are ferromagnetic. Just because they look metal doesn’t mean they’re of a material that can be magnetized. Got those that are, this pad is awesome. For those that aren’t, well, it’s still a nice place you can label and organize on a flat surface. It’s a great addition to my workbench.

I wish I had this magnetic board year's ago. If you need to disassemble a laptop, or any other electronics, this is perfect to keep your screws organized. The magnet is strong enough to hold all screws when held vertically. The one thing I would have liked is if it had a small holder for the marker, or if the marker had a magnet on it so we could keep them together. I'm afraid the marker will get lost with time.Overall, this is a really handy tool and it absolutely works as expected. Highly recommend!

I replaced the battery and the screen of my iPhone, and this mat made it so easy to park the screws, helping with the flying screws from my iPhone, they landed right in this magnetic mat. Glad I did purchase this. In the past it was a night mare working on similar projects with the removing parts. Thanks again.

I use this for my work as a technician and it does its job good. The only things that bring it down to a four, which still makes it pretty good, is the grey square that lists the dimensions. It's kind of petty to dislike it, but it doesn't make it look as great. Besides that, nothing to really complain about. Fits in my backpack for easy transportation. Has more room than I could even think of using. The magnetic part is strong enough to keep all small screws stuck to it even when stored away. It's got what helps me stay more organized, especially with the marker if you need it. Would recommend

I started doing in-home computer and mobile phone repair and needed a smaller magnetic mat (approximately 12in x 10in) than I have in my shop. I found that this magnetic mat and a stand-up LED flashlight are very convenient to carry in my tool bag. The mat allows me to keep track of the parts as I remove them. The included pen is nice for labeling the grid as needed. I can also make a note about a part if needed. Overall, a good addition to my tool bag.

When working on any kind of electronics there's always parts and pieces durning disassembly and of coarse screws,washers,nuts etc. - This mat is a lifesaver - You can make notes, keep track of the order of disassembly/reassembly and not end up with "extra" parts/screws upon completion. The magnetism is kinda light but strong enough to keep things from rolling away. I only wish this was around 20 years ago it would have helped with so much!!

I use it to take apart electronics with small screws like computer graphics cards and laptop screws, it’s able to handle the screws but it may not be able to handle it when you try to make em fall down.
