It turns out I'm pretty fearless when it comes to replacing phone screens and batteries. But the tiny screws must be managed as they come out so they can go back correctly. I was using a piece of cardboard and a marker to hold them, but this magnetic mat makes things a whole lot safer and easier. Steel screws sit safely and relatively securely in place on the mat. The included easy-erase marking pen means I can label the spare areas for the duty or screw type. Obviously reusable of course. After just a couple uses, the benefits are quite obvious to me, and I'll never go back to tiny screws pushed into cardboard.It fits nicely in a gallon freezer bag for storage between uses too. It's easily earned a spot in the tiny-tools drawer in my desk.

I don't know how I didn't know about these until recently. I was trying to fix my gaming console with a million tiny screws.In the past I've used bowls, or cups, or towels to try to contain screws and such... This was so much easier and better, being able to label them was also a huge help.Especially for the price, this is a "no brainier" must have took for any toolbox.

Great product for the price, just wish the magnet was just a little bit stronger. But works totally fine for most smaller screws that I'm working with. Easily worth the price.

This made me more confident and freed up brain space when replacing a screen on a mac book air. If you are doing a complicated tear down and rebuild, something like this is worth it.

This works great to hold screws and even label them. Magnet could be a bit stronger, and one needs a way to transport it from workbench to storage area (the magnet is limp and packaging could work as holder except for the pen bump in plastic. I really like it! Helps me remember order and placement or screws/items.

Exactly as advertised.As you can see in the picture, the "magnetized" part of the mat works perfectly for small screws and tools, even if held vertically.The Wet Erase Marker work well and won't erase if you touch it with your fingers by mistake like a Dry Erase Marker, you need water to clean the marker out.

If you take stuff apart, you have to have one of these. I used to draw on paper, but that wasn't magnetic.
