6. Close the door to position the iron plate then screw in.
7. Finish.
Warm Tip:
For external doors, a 4 mm door gap must be reserved during installation.

Seems to be a well made heavy duty magnetic push latch. I installed it on a large pantry door with full frame mirrors (doors are very heavy), and they hold them pretty well. Why I didn’t give them 5 stars is design issues. First off the magnetic bar is slightly too small and when you put screws into it they stick out just slightly which prevents the magnet from really getting a firm grasp. If they were an 1/8 inch larger between the holes this would be better, or if they machined the screw holes deeper the screws wouldn’t stick out and this would be great. Still in all haven’t found a latch that could hold my doors as well as these are doing. They seem well made (time will tell), and I’ll see if they hold up to abuse.

This opener is very strong--just what I needed for my garbage drawer cabinet. The normal opener wasn't powerful enough to open the unit. My trash drawer has 3 drawer fronts railed together instead of one cabinet door, so, it is heavy. This opener has a bar magnet instead of a little dot magnet. You won't be disappointed.

I actually got them to use them for a storage secret door that is not heavy or regular door. This item is well made. The magnet is very strong and they are of good big size for my project
