Great for displaying sockets - for the average homeowner where they will remain seated until the rare occasion calls them to duty. If you’re a professional or a weekend mechanic I’d be concerned with the durability and longevity of this system. If you wanna organize and display your tools then this will do the job. If you wanna method for lugging sockets around in a toolbox in a was that helps keep track of them… then maybe for a little while? Your mileage will vary.

Even if you don't plan on putting this on a vertical surface, magnetic socket holders are great for your toolbox drawers - they make sure that the socket holder itself stays in place when you pull drawers open or push them shut. This socket holder does a great job of staying in place in my toolchest, keeps the sockets in place when I'm opening and closing the drawer, but it's also still easy to pull the sockets out when I'm ready to use them.

At first ws concerned about the sturdiness of this socket holder but was pleasantly surprised once I looked a little deeper. See photo, as it is reinforced with a screw to hold the plastic ends. Will be buying more this performs very well and holds sockets well, while easily removed when needed.

This Reniteco ¼†magnetic socket organizer is definitely a premium product that easily outperforms nearly every competing product that I searched for. It simply comes down to the fact that it has just about every useful feature that you could need. The manufacturer clearly put some time and effort into creating such an ideal product. Here’s what I like most about it:• The ABS material will never rust!• Actually feels sturdy, not cheap, and has a bit of weight to it!• Magnetic back!• Full size with 14 clips!• Clips rotate on a 360° swivel!• Sockets perfectly fit onto clips!• Locking steel ball bearing on side to provide better hold for socket!• Slippage steel ball bearing underneath clip supports smoother movement!• Has holes on both ends to optionally hang (from pegboard, nails)!• Black with both red and blue as available color options!• ¼†with both ⅜†and ½†options also available! Now, this product is far superior to even Reniteco’s own basic socket organizer offering. This is truly a premium product as you will be hard pressed to find so many useful features in any single socket organizer. Sure, a basic socket organizer will cost a bit less, but it also won’t be nearly as robust, will lack a magnetic back, and it certainly won’t have swivel clips with dual integrated ball bearings! This product really is a great deal when you consider exactly what you’re getting!I see nothing negative about this product, but I do wonder exactly what form of limited warranty is offered as the product page doesn’t specify this and there’s nothing in the box mentioning this. Returns obviously fall under Amazon’s 30-day refund/replacement policy, but it would be great if the manufacturer could update the listing with this information! (Hint, hint.)Ultimately, this is a five star product and I unequivocally recommend it!

ABS material seems heavy duty, holds my sockets well, however I wish the magnetic on the back was not just a strip because it was not sticking well to my toolbox with all my sockets already added on it. Had to use some extra round magnets discs and that did the trick.

I didn't know these existed before the item popped up in my "Recommended For You" section, thought it was a cool idea, and ordered one. When it arrived, I immediately loaded it up with sockets from my random-socket drawer (where remnants of mechanics toolkits and socket sets that are missing too many get dumped eventually if I can't find replacements in said drawer). Then I stuck it to the side of my tool chest and was pleasantly surprised by the strength of the magnet (see photo). I can see this being an incredibly useful way to keep socket sets organized without taking up drawer space in your tool chest, as well as conveniently being able to stick them to a vehicle you're working on. When I get to the "clean up garage" task on my to-do list, I'll be picking up a few more of these rails - they're awesome!

I got this magnetic socket organizer to use in my home shop. It holds sockets as it should, however, is made a bit lighter than other organizers I own. It also does not have enough slots to hold a whole set. It does the job, though, and I'd probably buy it again. Minus one star for quality.
