I used to have few solar backup camera and this one has 1. Installation is so easy ... just spent about 3 mins to set it up... plug and work with wireless and solar (save a lot of time for me - Love it) 2. Its comes with a mount holder which holds screen and sticks very well on dash. 3. My trailer is about 20ft and signal is still well, I did not see any delay. 4. Back up camera is small, compact size. It sticks well on back car door and hard to take if off. 5. Picture is recorded clear even though under heavy rain or fast speed - very clear 6. A fun way - I put it outside of my garage as a security camera to watch from my room (it is very cool)

I got this as a second camera for my RV. The primary RV camera is great for backing the RV into a spot, but is set too high and angled too far down to be useful in traffic. So this camera is meant to be an auxiliary rear view mirror. So, to start, the display. It has a very clear, quality display. It's a bit small, but it paired with the camera right away and has options to flip and mirror the image, so you can use it for a rear or front camera, or lay it on your dashboard and reflect it off the windshield like a HUD (with a transparent and reflective panel or film). The camera is decent. Clear image, good field of view. The camera can pitch up and down a reasonable amount. It has decent night vision and is somewhat sensitive to infrared light (I put it in the dark and shone an IR flashlight at it; it saw the light when I aimed the light at it directly, but it didn't catch much, if any, reflected IR light, which is fine for night vision). The camera wireless is seriously impressive. I placed the camera in a lab at work that has no windows and very solid walls and doors, then walked about 200 feet down the hall and into the break room, putting distance and multiple walls between the camera and the display. The signal was solid all the way, with no degradation of the image from the camera. And the magnet on this thing is no joke! I stuck it on a metal cabinet to test things out, and getting it off the cabinet was quite the struggle. It's almost too strong. Like, maybe it should be a switchable magnet (like with a key, so someone can't just walk off with it). Still, no worries about it falling off when you hit a bump on the highway. Finally, the solar panel. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and it's winter, so solar incidence is at a minimum. I can't really give a fair assessment of it's performance. I'm not super excited about the fact that the panel is fixed fast to the camera body, so you can't change the panel angle, or find a different position for the panel away from the camera body. Luckily, the camera battery charges easily via USB and lasts a long time.I know the display can pair with a second camera, but I only have the one, so I can't comment on that.Overall, it's a good system. Quality video, strong magnet and video signal, and flexible application (as a front or back camera). Worth the cost, especially if you can use the $35 coupon.

The AMTIFO Solar Magnetic Backup Camera & Monitor Kit is awesome, and I highly recommend it! I attached it by its magnet to my SUV’s back hatch to line up my hitch ball with my travel trailer’s hitch. Because of the strong built-in magnet and built-in camera battery plus no cabling necessary, I can position the camera to look directly over my hitch ball which makes lining up the SUV and trailer so very easy. Once I’ve got the trailer all hooked up, I then transfer the camera to the rear of my trailer so I can monitor traffic while traveling and also to guide me backing my trailer into a space. The camera is waterproof so I don’t have to worry about it if it rains or snows. The camera provides a very wide and sharp view, and the monitor provides a high-resolution picture. I can switch the electronic backup guide built-in to the camera system on and off as I need it. I really like that the camera has a USB charger to initial charge the camera battery and then a built-in solar panel to keep it charged during traveling. I also appreciate the percent of charge lights on the side of the camera so I know instantly what level of charge I have. Setting up the camera and pairing it to the monitor is quick and easy and is clearly explained in the kit’s manual, as is all of the operation choices. Setting up the system took me less than ten minutes initially, and then only about 2-3 minutes each time I set it up to use. On top of such a good system, you also get a 2-year warranty and the choice of another camera or other item free. The AMTIFO folks thought of everything when they put this kit together!

This camera is perfect for several applications. I put it on my truck so I may watch what is behind me at any time. Also works great on the front to see just how much room you have to pull into these tiny west coast parking spots. I’ve used in on the back on our RV as well to assist with the tree positions etc. It’s easy to use at a low cost and with its magnetic mount easy to move around. I did find it a bit tricky to set up because the screen is smaller than what I am used to. I found it’s a much better idea to set up while stopped rather than with the vehicle moving down the road. (most likely suggested anyway). I have yet to have the camera battery go dead even though I park in my garage and sometimes forget to turn it off.All in all, its small screen, super sharp image and portability make it a winner for me.
