Measurement method
Step 1: stick adhesive magnetic strip
- Please clean the window frame before installation and keep it dry
- Tear off the film of the adhesive magnetic stripe and stick it straight around the window
- Cut off the excess magnetic strip
Step 2: Attract grooved magnetic strip
- Attach the grooved magnetic strip to the adhesive magnetic strip in turn
- Cut off the excess grooved magnetic strip
Step 3: Temporary plastic film
- Cut 4 strips of PE strips about 1.2'' to make temporary fasteners
- Pull the plastic film flat
- Secure the plastic film with 4 pieces of plastic film holder temporary
Step 4: press plastic film
- Use PE strips to press the plastic film into the grooved magnetic strip; take the plastic film holder off when press along the frame
- Cut off the excess PE strip
（Warm tips: Bend the PE strip upwards, the grooved will be larger, and the installation will be easier）
Step 5: Install corners, cut plastic film
- After the installation is satisfied, Snap the corners into the four corners
- Cut off the excess plastic film
Step 6: Install the clip
- Slightly lift the outer frame 12in（30cm）away from the top, Use clips to clamp the outer frame, and remove the adhesive film. The other side is the same.
- Then press down the clip and the surrounding frame, and the installation is completed.

Works great on keeping draft out . directions could be better but once got it figure out was able to do the rest of windows in no time

The kits were purchased for four drafty windows. Today we attempted to install on the first window and found a lack of glue on step (1) - The magnetic strip kept falling down without any weight on it- Onward we found the plastic furnished was too thick to be installed on last step. Direction stated that these were for "screen" applications. RESULTS one distroyed kit and one extremely unhappy wife!Please accept return of these three remaining new kits and one damaged kit. Total 4

The idea is there and once installed, it does insulate from cold air but it comes with a lot of effort. Instructions are bad, yes. But you paid for what you have. I used it for basement window that is horizontal strip of glass that rotate, basically no window, so I needed something else. I didn't have the budget for a new window so there it is. The casement was uneven, so I didn't put the corners. The setup is hard and you'll almost need three hands. That's said, the magnets seems to hold pretty well to each other and the white frame is easy to clip on it. I has to staples the magnet to the wall on some parts because it was unfinished wood, I don't doubt I'll have to add more as time goes.Overall pretty happy with that temporary solution, it cut the air flow right away (thought about doubling the plastic but not sure if it's needed). It let the light go through so that is all I'm asking. Cutting the cold air to save some heat, simple enough to install, does the job BUT hard to install as everything rolls into itself and no ody does a 90 degree angle the first time.

I cannot use this indoors because of the toxic vinyl stink. The design of the skinny plastic outer rim is not very helpful for this application- maybe it was for a thin fiber screen. When you take it off, it's a mess- does not roll up nicely because of that outer plastic rim. It also can't be stored flat upright. I think the standard storm window plastic from 3M is also much superior visually. This vinyl is distorting. I will use a polyester/mylar/PET film covered interior insert instead.The seller has reached out to me and offered a full refund. So I added a star for now, more if it really happens. If true, you can't ask for better service than a full refund.

We have a window with a rock hole in it and we are unable to replace it. We bought this to help. Was a little time consuming when setting up, directions could really be improved upon. BUT I would 100% buy again! I just love that you can put it up and take it down if needed.

Film is peeling off even though I used a credit card to rub over film and adhesive to make sure it was sealed. Not worth it.

It does not come together. It’s not easy to put together. It has no directions. If you don’t head my advice and purchase anyway- you need to give the plastic extra room all the way around. The ac blows out of the hole and if it’s cut to size the air pressure is too much and pulls it apart. Useless for my needs . Returning

Super good and simple to install. Like the magnet feature to open windows during a warmer winter day for some fresh air. Could feel the difference once it was installed. Place is much warmer and less drafty

For what this cost, I am amazed. Easy to install and incredibly effective. Once in place it is hardly noticeable. Would highly recommend for draughty windows. 5 â

Does work - Hairdryer needed to assist in adhesive working. Probably best to do in the warmer months as adhesion especially of the white cover strip is not great. possibly as been in a roll for a long time. Does reduce condensation.
