Very good price, but not as fine as I would've hoped. Good product though. Use this for anything else, sure, but there are probably better products for Ferrofluid

Yep, it's magnetite powder.I bought it to make a large quantity of ferrofluid (combine with engine oil). That works very well and it's a cheap way to get a lot!

Not sure why I've not reviewed this product before? Maybe not got around to it. I've ordered it several times & its at a nice price. I use it to make up my own custom electrical Coil Cores which I make on the larger side because it dampens down the noise that they make when they're pulsed. I find this upsets the neighbours. The Magnetite itself is fine & extremely messy & gets everywhere so care must be taken otherwise you'll be cleaning for days. This is my main use for it. For me it totally blows away Soft Steel & Ferrite.
