In my opinion, this gasket is the best relative to a FelPro or a Cummins Gasket. It is tougher, a little wider and has small raised lips around areas that are leak prone on the cummins cover. I compared it to the blue FelPro and the Cummins. Very satisfied and chose to use this one to seal up a leaking side cover. It also comes with the 6 sealing washers with the rubber inside whereas the other two brands, you have to purchase those 6 washers separately.

Love it. Replaced the one on my 01 24v cummins. Absolutely no leaks

This kit went on with no fuss. The only thing to note is this. The seals for the bolts are MUCH thicker than the stock units, like over 5mm thicker. If you tried to torque the cover on with the stock bolts, they would only have a couple threads in the bosses to hold the cover on, if that. I went to the hardware store and bought the next size longer bolts to use with them. It worked great! The stock bolts are 16mm long, and I bought 20mm long bolts if I remember correctly. I just took 1 of the stock bolts in with me and used that to get what I needed.

Well, it did work and sealed the leak. It was my fault it started leaking again. The truck worked okay around the property, but when I road tested it, it was leaking again. Like I say my fault. You know the vent line on the front of a Cummings, don't block that. Its a vent. And I did not have any vents on my tappet cover. These tappet covers are notorious for leaks. I went with the Beans tappet cover. That one has connections for vent or oil catch can lines. Quite the job to replace this gasket, you need to pull the injection pump, injection lines, fuel filter. You'll need a puller for the injector timing gear too. And some of those injector bolts are hard to get to. Anyways, if you don't do what I did, this would work fine if you got the tappet cover leak. But inspect your tappet cover very carefully to make sure it's not warped.

Package was tore open when received, with no o-rings could have been poor shipping but the rubber gasket seems to be of good quality, so 3 stars for me just because of how I received the package but all in all not upset

Parts missing, it really is irritating that parts don't come with.
